Job Description: Job Duties:
1. Understanding Cisco unified communications domain, strategy
2. Create close to real-world setup in the lab to test out various vertical specific solutions
3. Engage with product marketing and understand the product roadmap
4. Work with product marketing and generate test specs and test strategies
5. Perform Architectural & design level validation of the soutions
6. Review the test processes and recommend improvements
7. Document, propose and verify test guidelines to the team
8. Work and review deployment strategies for the product
9. Test various aspects of product scalability, availability strategies & solutions
10. Test various security aspects of the product

Skill Set:
- 10-12 years of industry experience with at least 5-6 years of experience in systems integration testing.
- Good breadth of knowledge & experience in various systems and domains: IP Telephony, Databases, Presence based systems, Web based systems, Messaging, Conferencing systems.
- Good working experience in solutions testing and real-world deployment testing
- Good knowledge of following open system protocols:
o TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP,
with good understanding of IP Telephony, VoIP, Media, presence protocols and excellent integration experience in:
o SIP, H323, SCCP, RTP, MRTP, JTAPI, AXL
o IP Systems (Call Servers, Messaging)
o TCP/IP, HTTP
o Presence protocols (Jabber, XMPP)
- Good experience with atleast one OS Windows, Unix, Linux
- Good understanding of Enterprise applications
- Good understanding of high-availability, redundant, distributed, scalable systems.
- Experience in Test Management tools.
- Excellent knowledge on QA Process & Testing Methodologies, test Designing, Test Execution, Review Process & Methodologies.
- - Experience to verify & validate Traceability from Requirements to Test Cases.

Desired Skills
- Exposure to programming languages (C++, C#, Java)
- Exposure to various web servers (Apache, Jetty, WebSphere, IIS)
